Henry Orval Harris

Henry Orval Harris, 83 years, 8 months, and 14 days old, passed away on January 23, 2016 at his home with his family by his side.

Orval was born May 9, 1932 in Atoka, OK to Patrick and Lee (Royal) Harris.

Orval and Barbara Jane Queen were united in marriage on May 6, 1950 at
Ft. Worth, TX. To this union four children were born.

Orval loved to fish, rabbit and squirrel hunting and making a big garden. He especially loved visiting with his kids and grandkids.

Orval was preceded by his parents, his wife, Barbara in 2000, six sisters and one brother.


Orval is survived by his children and their spouses, Patrick and Dana Harris, Bridgeport, TX, Eddy and Mary Harris, Weatherford, TX, Ricky and Francis Harris, Ft. Worth, TX, Glenda and Dale Evans,Squires, MO, thirteen grandchildren, twentyone great-grandchildren and four great-greatgrandchildren, a sister, Vera Barrow, Georgia, sister-in-law, Virginia Laverne Mancini and her son, Charlie Mancini of Ft. Worth, TX, brother-in-law, Benny "Red" Drain, Sr., Ft.Worth, TX, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.


Graveside services for Orval will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016, 3:00 p.m. at the Thornfield Cemetery, Thornfield. MO. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 26th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Pastor David Dodson. Memorials may be made to Thornfield Cemetery.
