Henry Lee Harris

Henry Lee Harris, 49 years, 1 month, and 11 days old, passed away suddenly on October 9, 2021 in Florida.

Henry was born August 28, 1972 in Houston, Missouri, to Connie Harris.

He graduated from Ava High School and also attended Drury University.  Henry was a veteran and served with the U.S. Navy from 1991 to 1994.  After the Navy, he served in the National Guard.

Henry was a police officer in many departments, including Ava City Police.

Henry and Sabrina Shea begin their relationship five years ago and enjoyed traveling, cooking and spending time together.

He enjoyed scuba diving, golfing, motorcycles, hunting, and going to the beach.  He loved cooking, traveling and spending time with family.

Henry was preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry Harris.

He is survived by his mother, Connie (Harris) Kilburn;  his life partner, Sabrina Shea;  his children, Brittany & R.J. Hill, Henry S. Harris & Rita Yohe, Trevor McChesney, Melanie Watson, Brianna Shea and Gavin Shea; grandchildren, Demetri Hill, Beau Watson, Aria McChesney, Scarlett Watson, and Ellie McChesney; brother, Tim Williams and wife, Donna; brother, Chris Coombs, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Henry will be Monday, October 18, 2021 at10:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri.  Burial will be in the Whites Creek Cemetery with full military honors to follow.  Officiating will be Rev. Oren Alcorn.  Memorials may be made to Whites Creek Cemetery.
