IMOGENE LOIS CAGLE
Imogene Lois Cagle, age 83, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2023 after a long illness. She was born December 16, 1939 in Davis, Oklahoma to Delbert and Linnie GarrenCagle. She moved to Hartville, Missouri in December 1969 where she was a homemaker and part owner of a dairy farm and later a duck operation. She loved cooking, sewing, growing a garden and being active in the Baptist Church. She moved to Gainesville to be near her daughter in 2015 and then to Battlefield in 2018.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Kenneth Cagle, and sister Rosalee Cagle. She is survived by her brother and his wife, Gene and Linda Cagle of Denton, Texas. Her daughter and her husband Shareen and Eddie Delp of Battlefied, Missouri, her daughter and her husband Donita and Jim McMillion Mansfield, Missouri, 6 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
Please join us in celebrating her life, Thursday morning, September 28, 2023, at Thornfield Chapel between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM, with a Graveside service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ThornfieldCemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
