IRENE THELMA FREEMAN
Irene Thelma Freeman, 86, of Theodosia, MO was born November 7, 1928 in Salt Lake City, UT. She passed away August 31, 2015 at Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was the daughter of Charles Alma Edwards and Thelma Boletta (Martinsen) Edwards.
She married Willis B. "Willie" Freeman August 18, 1955 in Las Vegas, NV. She worked as a Subcontract Manager of Material Operations in Surveillance & Sensor System Division at Hughes Aircraft in Fullerton, CA. She traveled all over the country with this job.
When she retired her and her husband Willie traveled in their motor home for many years together cross country. This was her real joy in life. She had been a fantastic artist all her life. Her favorite hobbies were camping, fishing, swimming, crocheting and spending time with family.
She is survived by her three children: sons Luke Willis Freeman of Minden, NV, Tracy Freeman and wife Tammy of Yucca Valley, CA and daughter Connie Freeman and her partner Steve Hart of Theodosia, MO; also two grandchildren Justin Luke Freeman and wife Cassie of Puyallup, WA and Courtney Paige Freeman of Yucca Valley, CA; and one great granddaughter Lilianna Freeman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Alma Edwards and Thelma Edwards; step mother Edith Marie (Langton) Edwards; her son Charles Brent Freeman and husband Willis B. Freeman.
