Iris Ann Durham

Iris Ann Durham, 82 years, 2 months, 21 days old, passed peacefully to Heaven on June 17, 2021 at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas with her family by her side.

Iris was born March 26, 1939 in Omaha, NE to James Orville and Kiree (Hartley)   Brown.

On June 9, 1957 Iris Ann and Bob Durham were united in marriage at Ava General Baptist Church in Ava, Missouri. They were blessed with six children.

Iris Ann was a Christian and a member of the Ava General Baptist Church. While in Osawatomie, she attended the First Baptist Church with her daughter Julie. She loved building puzzles and playing Bingo. She enjoyed outings with her friends and family. Her joy was caring for her family!

Iris Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob in 2000, four siblings, Evelyn, Jana Lea, Kenny, and James.

She is survived by her children and their spouses;  Cathy & Jeff Alderman of Camdenton, MO; Steve Durham and John  Durham both of Springfield, MO; Susan & Dwight Evans of Squires, MO; Lisa & Gary Eichelberger of Sparta, TN; and Julie & Gus Rogers of Osawatomie, KS, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Iris Ann will be Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Girdner Cemetery, Squires, MO. A Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Rev. Oren Alcorn. Memorials may be made to the Girdner Cemetery.
