Mr. Iris Joe Kelley

Iris Joe Kelley, 67 years, passed away on August 22, 2019 at his home with his family by his side.

Iris Joe was born September 29, 1951 in Springfield, Missouri to Donnie Gene "Peanut" and Alice Marie (Snavely) Kelley.

Iris Joe was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served during the Vietnam War.

On July 22, 1974 Iris Joe and Glinda Mayfield were united in marriage at Miami, OK and were blessed with four children.

Joe was a Brown Swiss Dairy Farmer for 44 years. He was a very active member of the Mtn. Grove VFW Post #3770 and the Mtn. Grove American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes and most of all being with his family, especially his grandkids.

Iris Joe was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Benjamin, and one brother, John Max.

He is survived by his wife, Glinda of the home in Norwood, three children and their spouses, Francis & Jenni Kelley, Mitzi & Brandan Campbell, and Jacob & Amanda Kelley, eight grandchildren; Benjamin, Melody, Emmalee, Megan, Connor, Maddie, Isaac, and Blake, his step-father, Harold Kingsland, three brothers and spouses, Patrick & Nancy  Kelley, Jeremiah & Malea Kelley, Dean & Kim Kingsland, and one sister, Zelta Miller, and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Cremation services for Iris Joe are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO per his request.
