Ival Leland Rowe, 75 years, 2 months, 24 days old, passed away on, April 23, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO with his loving wife, Wanda and family by his side.
Ival was born January 27, 1942 in Diggins, MO to Jesse Franklin and Effie Jane (Potter) Rowe.
Ival was a retired truck driver. He drove for over 35 years working for Foremost Dairies and Yellow Freight in Springfield, MO. He was a Air Force Veteran.
On March 11, 1966 Ival and Wanda Smith were united in marriage in Springfield, MO
and to this union two daughters were born.
He was a Christian and a member of the Sunset Church of Christ in Springfield. He had served as a Deacon for several years at the Kansas Expressway Church of Christ.
Ival enjoyed going to auctions and collecting record albums. Most of all his joy and love was being with his family and especially his granddaughters, Alexa and Emily!
Ival was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, Lyle and Maxine Smith, three brothers, Joe, Calvin and Marion Rowe, three sisters, Marie Rowe, Josephine Shrader, and Cleta Upton.
Ival is survived by his wife, Wanda of the home in Springfield, two daughters, Kimberly Dixon and husband, Keith, Sparta, MO and Kristi Constantine, Springfield, MO,
two granddaughters, Alexa Dixon and Emily Constantine, one brother, Dean Rowe and wife, Evelyn, Seymour, MO, sister-in-law, Katherine Rowe, Joplin, MO, brother and sister-in-law, Junior and Cindy Smith, brother-in-law, Carl Smith, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Ival will be Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Souder Cemetery, Ozark County, MO (off of North Highway 95) with full military honors by Troy Herd American Legion Post 112.Visitation will be Thursday, from 2:00 to 3:15 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Joe Bright and Dwight Samuels. Memorials may be made to Fair Haven Children's Home in Strafford, MO or Souder Cemetery Fund.
