JACK PITCHFORD

Jackie Laroy "Jack" Pitchford, 72, of Tecumseh, MO passed away January 9, 2020 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St Louis, MO. He was born September 6, 1947 in Gainesville, MO to Bob and Darlene (Thompson) Pitchford.

On June 13, 1970 Jack was united in marriage to Rose Ann Tye, who preceded him in death August 2, 2016. Jack was the oldest of six children. He was very avid in the boy scouts and even made it to Eagle Scout. He spent two years in Vietnam and several years in the reserves. He loved the outdoors and loved gardening and fishing. He loved his family and enjoyed playing with the grandkids. He was a loving father and grandfather.

Jack is survived by two children, Raymond Pitchford of Tecumseh, MO and Jennifer Stage of Gainesville; four grandchildren Issac, Joshua, Kainen and Emily Stage; one sister Fran Napper; three brothers Jim, Jerry and Johnnie Pitchford; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Darlene Pitchford; his wife Rose Pitchford; and one sister Carroll Wise.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2020 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Jeff Dotson officiating. Visitation will be Friday from Noon to service time. Burial with Full Military Honors will be in the Brushy Knob Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
