Cleo Jackson "Jack" Skaggs, 76 years, 8 months, 10 days old, passed away on December 26, 2017 at his home in Mansfield.
Jack was born April 16, 1941 in Bendavis, MO to William "Bill" and Lillie Jane (Baney) Skaggs.
He was retired beef farmer for over 30 years and he also worked in a sawmill as a woodcutter.
In 1989 Jack and Eva Faye (Wallace) were united in marriage in Mansfield, MO and they were blessed with with nine children.
Jack was a Christian and had attended Victory Worship Center in Cabool since he was a child. He enjoyed cutting wood, dancing, and spending time with his family. He was also a talented woodworker.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Eva in 2007, nine siblings, seven brothers, Noah, Virgil, Earnest, Phillip, Laurence, Francis, and Jerry, and two sisters, Delcie and Martha, and three grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, David Eugene Skaggs, Danny Ray Skaggs and Deborah Lee Skaggs, all of Cabool, MO, six step-children, Donald Wallace, Mansfield, MO, Debbie Kay Aborn, Mansfield, MO, Evelyn Dollarhide, Ava, MO, Susie Dollarhide, Mansfield, MO, Mary French, Mansfield, MO, and Albert Aborn, Mansfield, MO, a special niece, Jocelyn "Jo" Banister, Mansfield, MO, many grand and great-grand children and many nieces and nephews and friends.
Funeral services for Jack will be Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will start at 9:00 am . Officiating will be Rev. Bill Kelley. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association .Visitation
