JACK OWEN COONS SR

Jack Owen Coons Sr, 67, of Isabella, MO passed away April 17, 2017 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR. He was born September 25, 1949 in Kansas City, KS the son of Jack Trennath Coons and Maxine (McCurdy) Cissna.

Jack was family man with a strong work ethic and love for his country. He was a loving, kind-hearted generous man. He was a man of few words but always the right words when you needed them most. He always made you feel safe: "everything will be alright"; "no worries" and "smile". Jack will be missed by many family and friends whose hearts he touched.

He is survived by his wife Sherri Coons of the home in Isabella; one daughter Jackqueline Coons; one son Jack Coons; step children Theresa Brown and husband Clifford, Mandee Howard, Amber Henning; grandchildren Justin Kohn, James "J.T." Kohn, Aliya Coons; several step grandchildren; and two siblings Carolyn Coons and Bob Coons. He was preceded in death by his parents and one stepson Curtis Howard.

A memorial service at Bull Shoals Lake will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2017 in the Theodosia Marina campground pavilion with Jimmy Kyle officiating. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
