Jackie Ray Stanifer, 73 years, and 16 days old, passed away on December 6, 2025 at his home in Ava, Missouri with family by his side.

Jackie was born November 21,1952 in Springfield, Missouri to Merlin and Pauline Stanifer.

Jackie and Becky Stanifer were united in marriage on November 23, 1990, at Basher Church in Ava, Missouri.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on guns, and sitting on the front porch.  He also liked to cook, host cook outs, and give people a hard time. His house was the gathering place and always full of laughter. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Norma, Dale, and Jewell; mother-in-law, Annabelle; two brothers-in-law and several close friends.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Becky; his children, Bradley and Brandi, Whitney, Brandon and Grace, and Jaclyn and Levi; "Papa" to eight grandkids and one great grandson; siblings, Carl and Jaynie, Mary, Joe and Pam; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

His family would like you to live by his famous words, "Don't start no crap and there won't be none".

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Missouri. Prayer will be conducted by Chris Simmons and Dennis Coday. Visitation will be held in place of formal services per Jackie's request. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.
