Jacob Alex Molland, 69, of Caulfield, MO died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at his residence. Jacob was born November 28, 1942, in Viroqua, WI, to the late Albon Molland and Marial Potts.

He retired after 42 years employment as a machinists at Rockford Powertrain. He also served in the Army during Vietnam, where he was injured. He was honored with the Purple Heart, bronze star, and Army Commendation Medal.

Jacob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Jacob enjoyed walks to his rock on his land and taking care of his flowers and chickens.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gretchen Molland, two children Christine Betley and Daniel (Ellen) Molland; three Grandchildren Alex Molland, Zachary Molland, and Kaitlyn; brother Larry (Loretta) Molland; and loving companion Molly(Chocolate Lab).

Visitation will be at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, MO from 11am -12pm on Saturday, November 24, 2012 followed by a Graveside service at 1pm in the White Oaks Cemetery. On line condolences may be made to www.clinkingbeardfuneralhome.com.
