JACOB (JAKE) W. MILLER

Jake Miller, Gainesville, MO son of Thomas A. and Ollie Rae (Pitchford) Miller, was born February 21, 1937 in rural Ozark County, MO and passed away March 2, 2009 in Gainesville, MO at the age of 72 years.

He married Reva Robirds on June 13, 1970 in Ozark, MO. Jake worked many years as an auto body repairman. He was a member of the Gainesville Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife Reva of the home in Gainesville, MO; his children Rick Taylor and wife Ladonna of St. Petersburg, FL, Melvin Miller and wife Trish of Jonesboro, AR, Mark Farhner of Lees Summit, MO, Teresia Marberry and husband Harold of Gassville, AR, Brent Miller and wife Laurie of Gainesville, MO, and Robin Morrow and husband Mike of Gainesville, MO; grandchildren Kadie Dacus, Nathan Foster, Melissa Rogers, Mindy Pippin, Michelle Cooley, Marsha R. Miller, Jacob Miller, and Justin Morrow; eight great grandchildren; five sisters Velta Hambelton of Dora, MO, Violet Morrison of Tecumseh, MO, Lura Hambelton, Nova Bryan, and Fern Beasley all of Gainesville, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Thomas Auther Jr. and Fred Miller.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the Gainesville Church of Christ with Halbert Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Lutie Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, March 4th from 5 – 7 PM at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
