James A. Albrecht, 53 years, 4 months, and 12 days old, passed to heaven on October 26, 2014 at Mercy Hospital.
James was born June 14, 1961 in Houston, TX to Don and Janice (West) Grooms. He graduated from Spring Branch High School in Houston.
James was employed as an armored car driver for 26 years and was a Navy veteran.
He was a Christian born again. He enjoyed building military models and playing bingo at the VFW, where he had many friends. He also liked to fish.
James was preceded by both parents.
James is survived by three brothers, Don Elroy Grooms Jr. and wife Ruby of Houston, TX, Ray Grooms and wife Tina of Ava, and Kevin Grooms and Steve of South Carolina, and many other friends and family.
Memorials may be made to the family as love offerings. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
