JAMES LESTER CHASE

James Lester "Jim" Chase, 76, of Hardenville, MO passed away on October 12, 2014 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR. Jim was born on November 19, 1937 in Westboro, WI the son of Lester and Freda (Dillman) Chase.

On August 1, 1959 Jim was united in marriage to the love of his life, Katherine Bieniek in Rib Lake, WI. They have enjoyed a wonderful 55 years together. Jim worked for many years at P.C.A. paper mill in Wisconsin. After his retirement, he and Kathy moved to the Ozarks. They made their home in Hardenville, MO. He loved hunting, fishing, working around his garage and building things. He loved flowers and had planted beautiful roses for Kathy. Although they loved to travel and see the country, nothing compared to the beautiful home they had made here in the Ozarks. Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather who adored his family. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Freda Chase; one son Jeff Chase; and one brother Jack Chase. He is survived by his wife Kathy Chase of the home in Hardenville, MO; his children Jack Chase of Tomahawk, WI, James Chase and Sue Christopherson and husband Dale of Melrose, WI; four grandchildren Brian, Scott, Ashleigh and Elizabeth; and two sisters June Schulz of Clintonville, WI and Jean Schulz of Tomahawk, WI.
