Obituary
James Edward Crisp, son of Hayes and Marie (Collins) Crisp, was born May 30, 1941 in Gainesville, MO and passed away June 21, 2008 in Mountain Home, AR at the age of 67 years and 21 days.
He worked at the family stave mill for many years, before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his family or talking to them on the phone. He also enjoyed listening to his police scanner and the radio, especially St Louis Cardinals games.
Mr. Crisp is survived by his mother Marie Crisp of Gainesville, MO; his sister LaRane Wright of Zanoni, MO; brothers Lonnie Crisp of Bakersfield, MO and Leon Crisp of Gainesville, MO; nephew Robert Crisp and wife Krista of Gainesville, nephew Russell Wright Jr. of Gainesville, niece Peggy Lyons and husband Rob, niece Kimberly Hickerson and husband Rodger; great nephews Alex Crisp and Tyler Hickerson.
He was preceded in death by his father Hayes Crisp; sister Judy Clouse; great nephew Rodger Hickerson; brother-in-laws Lawrence Clouse and Russell Wright Sr.; and sister-in-laws Ellen Crisp and Sharon Crisp.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 24, 2008, 2:00 PM at Lilly Ridge Cemetery in Gainesville, MO with E.J. Hampton officiating.
