JAMES VERNON DOCKINS
James Vernon Dockins, 73, of Ozark County, MO entered into rest on August 4, 2015 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born to Velma Dockins on June 21, 1942 in Calico Rock, AR.
On April 17, 1967 he was united in marriage to Charlotte Ingram in Brown Branch, MO. That same year the couple moved to Ozark County, MO where they made their home and raised five daughters. He worked many years as a truck driver and in construction. He was fun loving and full of life. He was always quick with a smile. He loved fishing and tinkering with old cars. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Dockins was preceded in death by his mother Velma Dockins. He is survived by his wife Charlotte of the home; five daughters: Missy Reichert & Tony, Tammie Tinsley & Terry, Hope Dockins & Kelley Breading, Angela K. Plemmons, and Shelly Dockins; his grandchildren: Kimberly, Eveston, Leland Jr., Tela, Kira, Justin, Robert, Leslie, Jacob, Brandon, Tyler, David, Jacqulyn, Teri and Shaunda; and multiple great grandchildren.
