James John Evans, 65 years, 11 months, 7 days old, passed away on October 20, 2022 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO with his family by his side.

Jim was born November 13, 1956 in Dawt, Missouri to Orville and Norma (Hathcock) Evans.

On June 25, 1976 Jim and Regina Shanks were united in marriage at Ava and they were blessed with three children, Brad, Travis and Jordan.

Jim was a Dairy Farmer for most of his life. He grew up on the farm and loved working the land and the cattle with his family. He enjoyed playing music, coon hunting and watching his kids play sports. Jim was a family man and loved being with his grandkids. He was a Christian and grew up in the Baptist Church at Dawt, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Fern, Annie, Dave, Bob and Donnie.

Jim is survived by his wife, Regina; three children and their spouses, Brad & Amanda Evans, Travis & Sherry Evans, and Jordan & James Hinrichs;

nine grandchildren, Hope, Kaylee, Araina, Payton, Kegan, Gunner, Bentley, Braxton and Briar; three great grandchildren, Landon, Kinslee and Cabella, three siblings; Linda, Junior and Larry; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Jim will be Monday, October 24, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, October 23 ^rd from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor David Dodson. Memorials may be made to the family as a Love offering to help with funeral expenses. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
