JAMES H. FARRIS JR

Funeral services for James H. Farris Jr. of Gainesville, MO will be Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of Christ of Gainesville with Halbert Smith officiating. Visitation will be Friday at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, MO, with the family receiving friends from 4-6 p.m.

James was born November 17, 1947 at Clarkridge, AR to James H. Sr. and Henrietta M. Farris. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Gainesville, MO. He went home to be with our Savior on Monday, February 7, 2011 surrounded by his family after a long illness.

James enjoyed fishing with many lifelong friends and family, along with hunting and gardening. He retired from Baxter Health Care after 32 years of service.

James is survived by his loving wife, Sandie Farris of the home in Gainesville, MO; three daughters & 2 sons-in-law, Sherry Turner of Gainesville, MO; Tom and Michele Richmond of Manchester, MO; Scott and Julie Watson of Wasola, MO; 10 grandchildren, Kalyn Hannaford wife of Kenny, Katie & Jamie Turner, Amanda, Aaron, & Kirsten Watson all of the Gainesville area, Chris, Alex, Abi, & Sarah Richmond of Manchester, MO; 2 brothers, Gerald & Jerry Farris; 7 sisters, Patricia Fuller, Eva Martin, Geneva Froman, Jane Hill, Hazel Studdard, Joyce Strain, and Rachel Wells.

Interment will be at Howards Ridge Cemetery at Howards Ridge, MO.
