James "Jim" LeRoy Green, 77, peacefully passed away in his home in Hardenville, MO on May 1, 2024. He was born on June 19, 1946 in Gainesville, MO to Roy and Wilma (Atkinson) Green.

Jim was united in marriage to Wilma Young on February 23, 1966 in Yellville, AR. Jim loved to hunt, fish, spend time with his family and read his bible. He enjoyed tinkering with his guns, tractor and "thinking time" in his deer stand. He worked at Bryant Plastics for many years and drove the school bus for Gainesville RV School District.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Green of the home; four children Telesia Evans (Roger), Jamie Kingsolver (David), Amy Green (Joe Cockrum), and Rebecca Hillhouse (Johnny); seven grandchildren: Ethan and Levi Evans, Victoria Fowler, Sarah and Noah Kingsolver, Sheddrick and Emily Green; and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Wilma Green.

Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
