James Leslie Hardy

Hardy, James "Les", of Dittmer, Missouri, was born November 10, 1933 in Lincoln, Illinois, to Cecil Leslie and Lois Pearl (nee Akeman) Hardy, and died October 27, 2009 at his residence in Dittmer, Missouri, at the age of 75 years, 11 months and 17 days.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one(1) sibling Harold Hardy.

He is survived by his wife Bonita (nee Garrison) Hardy, of Dittmer, Missouri, (married March 21, 1977)

two (2) children, Leslie Lynn Hardy, of Dittmer, Missouri and Kimberly Ann Hardy, of Dittmer, Missouri,

one (1) grandchild, Kaitlyn Belle Moore,

and many other relatives and friends.

Les was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved going to his children's school events and games, hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and telling stories. Les was a hero and strength to his family. He is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation Thursday October 29, 2009, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Another visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2009 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, Missouri with Funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Interment at Isabella Cemetery, Isabella, MO. Memorial contributions to Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
