James William Puckett, 73, of Kansas City, MO passed away September 18, 2022 at the Northcare Hospice House in North Kansas City. He was born August 12, 1949 in Kansas City to Fred and Betty (Smart) Puckett.

James was a veteran who served his county in the Army. He worked for many years in the underground cold storage in Kansas City. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a peaceful, loving person who will be greatly missed be his family and friends.

He is survived by several cousins and was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2022 in the Sims Cemetery, Gainesville, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Sims Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
