JAMES F. WILKES
James F. Wilkes, 66, of Gainesville, MO was born on August 17, 1942 in Macon, GA and passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at his home following a short illness.
In addition to his life partner, Ruth Hertzberg, survivors include five children Tammy Embrey and husband Clayton of Milner, GA., Elaine Wilkes of Forsyth, GA., Randy Wilkes and wife Tonia of Macon, GA., Angie Austin and partner Mitch Martin of Arnaudville, LA., and April Mathis of Ball, LA.; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters Pat Edwards, Libby Young, and Faye Johnston, and 1 brother Robin Wilkes all of Macon, GA.
James was preceded in death by his parents Vesta and Jesse Wilkes, and one granddaughter Kahlie Wilkes.
