Janet Karlene Crawford, 77 years, 10 months, and 18 days old, passed to Heaven on July 16, 2015 at Sonshine Manor in Republic, MO with her daughter Tammy by her side.

Janet was born August 29, 1937 in Lineville, IA to Norman and Ilo (Shepard) McCarty.

Janet and Charles Reed Beavers were united in marriage on July 3, 1954 in Lineville, IA and to this union three children were born. He preceded in death.

Later in years, Janet and Eugene "Gene" Crawford were united in marriage in October of 1974. She was a retired Apartment Manager in the Kansas City area. She was a Christian and attended the Assembly of God Church in Nixa, MO. Janet enjoyed listening to Jimmy Swaggert, her dogs, going to garage sales, playing cards and being with her family and friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Norman & Ilo, her husband, Gene in 2010, her step-father, Garold Clow and a son-in-law, John Masters. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Masters, Billings, MO, two sons, Terry Beavers and wife, Laurie, Clever, MO, Greg Beavers, Princeton, MO, four grandchildren, Stephanie, Jessica, Amber and Reed, five great grandchildren, Noah, Haliah, Jada, Carter and Chloe, extended family and friends.


Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Burial of cremains will be in the Clio Cemetery, Clio, IA (near Lineville) at a later date and time. Family requests memorials to American Cancer Society or Wounded Warrior Project.
