Janet Hannaford

Janet D. Hannaford, 84, of Gainesville, MO passed away on March 16, 2026 at her residence. She was born on April 18, 1941 in Gassville, AR to Kenneth and Helen (Dilbeck) Sanford.

On January 27, 1959, Janet married the love of her life, Jerry Hannaford. To this union two sons were born, Kent and Christopher.

Janet is survived by one son, Kent Hannaford of Gainesville; two grandsons, Kenny Hannaford (Kalyn), and Kyle Hannaford; three granddaughters, Jade, Evelyn & Kenzie; and her faithful companion of 15 years, her little dog, Midnight.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hannaford; one son, Christopher “Chris” Hannaford; 3 siblings, Larry Joe, Coneta and Eddie; and her parents, Kenny and Helen Sanford.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
