Janet Christine Humphrey, 55 years, passed to heaven on September 13, 2009 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

Janet was born April 23, 1954 in Springfield, MO to Olean and Gracie (Nelson) Williams.

On June 5, 1970 Janet and Dennis Humphrey were united in marriage in Ava, MO and to this union four children were born. She was of the Baptist faith. Janet enjoyed traveling, going to the casino's, camping, arts & crafts, garale sales and being with family. Janet was a Hair Stylist for over 20 years.


Janet was preceded in death by her father, Olean Williams, one brother, Jeff Clay Williams and one sister, Jovita Williams.


Janet is survived by her husband, Dennis Humphrey, Wellston, OK, four children, Ronald Humphrey, Oklahoma City, OK, Bradley Humphrey, Wellston, OK, Christina Eckroat & husband, John, Jones, OK and Belinda Twyman & husband, Brandon, Wellston, OK, her mother, Gracie Williams, Chadwick, MO, six grandchildren, Tyler, Dalton, Austin, Cameron, Joshua and Dylon, two step-grandchildren, Michael & Nathan, three brothers, Michael and Gary Williams, Chadwick, MO and David Williams, Springfield, MO, two sisters, Cynthia Blakemore, Walnut Grove, MO, Cheryl Holloway, Chadwick, MO and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Janet will be Saturday, September 19, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Boulder Fork Cemetery, Douglas County, MO. Visitation will be Friday, September 18, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. James Orick and Rev. Keith Lafferty.
