Janet N. Nute, 70 years, 8 months, 2 days old, passed to Heaven on July 21, 2016 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare.

Janet was born November 19, 1945 in Youngstown, OH to John and Agnes (Cross) Niven.

Janet and Ray Nute were united in marriage on November 25, 1967 in Painesville, OH and to this union two daughters were born.


Janet was the Treasurer Manager of Western Reserve Credit Union, Wickliffe, OH for 30 years.

Janet enjoyed crotcheting, reading, cooking, traveling, attending car shows and camping. She especially loved spending time visiting with family and friends. Janet was very proud of her Scottish heritage.

Janet was preceded in death by her father.

Janet is survived by her husband, Ray, two daughters, Heather Neace, Adrian, MI and Marabeth Null, Scott, OH, four grandchildren, Megan, Jonathan, Clay and Bailey, her mother, Nan Niven, her sister, Joan Frania, Dover, DE, two nieces, Gillian Sessler and Brenna Alexander, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the aids, nurses and entire staff of the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare.


Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. A Memorial service will be Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home. Officiating will be Chaplain Jeff Smith.
