Janice Joan Miller

Janice Joan Miller, 76 years, 8 months, and 27 days old, passed away on September 14, 2020 at Hartville Care Center in Hartville, Missouri.

Jan was born December 17, 1943 in Norfork, AR to Johnnie and Joan (Hicks) Kirkland.

In 1990 Jan and Don Miller were united in marriage. Jan had previously owned a restaurant in Gainesville, MO and later, together they owned and operated a restaurant in Mtn. Home, AR for five years. After they sold the restaurant they moved to Hartville.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and loved her flowers. She also delighted in reading recipes for hours. She adored Don and the feeling was mutual. They were inseperable.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Noma Jean Stires and a step daughter, Jacquie.

She is survived by partner, Don Miller, daughter, Terry and husband, Mike Maddox, step daughter (caregiver) Becki and husband, Mike Lansdown, four grandchildren, Chelsea Maddox, Dustin Davidson, Clay Davidson, and Shalane Robertson, six step grandchildren, Cory, Katie, Laura, Lauren, Dani, and Kyle, great grandchildren, a sister and her husband, Patsy & Chester Trivitt and other relatives and friends.

Cremation services for Jan are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri.
