Jaretty A. Nesbit
Jaretty Amer Hamilton Nesbit, 93, of Gainesville, MO passed away on May 1, 2013 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. Jaretty was born April 7, 1921 to Elmer and Gladys Hamilton of the Dawt, MO area.
In 1940, she married John Nesbit and they made their home in St. Louis, MO. When John retired, they moved back to the Hamilton farm. For about 26 years, Jaretty wrote local news columns for the West Plains Quill and the Ozark County Times. Her other interests were music, art and her flower gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by a sister, Lozell Pitchford of Mountain Home, AR and many nieces and nephews and their families. Jaretty was a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO with Clayton King officiating. Burial will be in the Lilly Ridge Cemetery.
