Jeff Ballard, 53, Gainesville, MO passed away on October 30, 2010 at his residence. He was born on December 7, 1956 in Lima, OH, the son of Donald Lee Ballard and Betty Jane (Knecht) Ballard.

Jeff had been a resident of Ozark County for the past three and a half years after retiring from the insurance business he owned in Arizona. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Jeff fell in love the Ozarks and the home he bought on Bryant Creek. He made many friends in the short time he had been here, and will be greatly missed by all.

Mr. Ballard is survived by two sons Joshua and Justin Ballard, both of San Tan Valley, AZ; two grandchildren Rogan and Eden Ballard; his father Donald Lee Ballard of Lima, OH his mother Betty Jane Ballard of Dewey, AZ; two brothers Gregg Ballard of Nixa, MO and Lee Ballard of Lowell, MI; and several other relatives and friends.

No local services are planned. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
