Funeral services for Jerald Ralph Mahan, 71, of Brixey, will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Smith Chapel Church in Brixey Missouri. Mr. Mahan died December 17, 2021 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas after a short illness.

He was born June 2nd, 1950, in Brixey, MO the son of Ralph and Dohna (Bushong) Mahan. He had three brothers; Jim Mahan, Phillip Mahan, and Tommy Mahan. He also had two sisters; Nettie Hudson and Phyllis Mullins. On June 9th, 1972 He married Christine Garrison in Isabella. They had three children, William, Jason, and Jaime. Mr. Mahan was an Army medic, serving from 1976 to 1977. He owned a heating and cooling business in Gainesville for several years. He lived and worked in the Gainesville area his entire life. He loved the Ozarks. He lived to hunt and fish, spending as much time as he could outdoors near his family's farm in Brixey. He adored all his grandchildren, and spent as much time with them as possible.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his five brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children William Mahan, Jason Mahan, and Jaime Schmuecker; his grandchildren Bailey Mahan, Isabelle Schmuecker, Zoe Mahan, and Jade Hicks; his step-grandchildren Page Weiroch and Nicholas Weiroch; and seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
