JERRY VINCE COLE
Jerry Cole, son of John Sr. and Versie (Blanton) Cole was born July 13, 1951 in Theodosia, MO and passed away September 13, 2008 at his residence in Theodosia, MO at the age of 57 years.
He served his country for four years in the United States Air Force. He then went on to work for several years at Ridewell Corporation.
Mr. Cole is survived by his ex-wife Sherry Jackson; one son Mark Anthony Cole; one stepdaughter Gina Jackson; three grandchildren; four brothers James Cole and wife Faye, Arkie Cole and wife Joan of Springfield, MO, David Cole and wife Nancy of Theodosia, MO, and Michael Cole of Ava, MO; two sisters Joyce Miller and husband E.F. of Theodosia, MO, and Janice Miller and husband Basil of Ava, MO; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Graveside services will be Thursday, September 18, 2008, 10:00AM at the Cole Cemetery near Theodosia, MO with Aunt Inie Watkins officiating. Visitation will be open on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, 9AM – 4:30PM at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO. Services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
