JERRY WAYNE LATHAM

Jerry Wayne Latham, 78, of Gainesville, MO passed away on December 7, 2015 at his residence. He was born August 14, 1937 in Howell County, MO the son of William J. and Tillie Ann (White) Latham.

Jerry worked for many years as a lineman for the phone company. On May 1, 1985 he was united in marriage to Judy Van Pool. Jerry lived in Ozark County most all his life. Even though his worked sent him to various locations, he always considered this to be his home. He enjoyed farming, taking care of his cattle and baling hay. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Jerry is survived by his wife Judy Latham of the home in Gainesville, MO; one daughter Tammy Johnson and husband David of Jefferson City, MO; one step son Troy Carlo and wife Amy of Walpole, MA; one grandson Jeremy Johnson; four step grandchildren Cassie Carlo, Chandler Carlo, Elise Carlo and Sam Carlo; two great grandsons Ethan and Kyle Johnson; and two sisters Ethel Carr of Billings, MO and Grace Ewing of Lee Summit, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents W.J. and Tillie Ann Latham; and three siblings: Mary Wilbanks, Ray Latham and Dave Latham.

Funeral services are Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Jimmy Kyle officiating. Visitation is Thursday morning from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial is in the Lilly Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
