JERRY LEE "RED" LEWIS

Jerry "Red" Lewis, son of Woodrow Penrod and Lena Lewis Anderson, was born October 9, 1948 in Gainesville, MO and passed away January 24, 2009 at his residence in Tecumseh, MO at the age of 60 years.

"Red" was a lifelong resident of Ozark County who was well known and well liked. He spent most of his adult life working on the farm. He enjoyed being outdoors more than anything else. "Red" greeted everyone he met with a smile. On January 8, 2003 he married Ella Allen in Gainesville, MO.

He is survived by his wife Ella of the home in Tecumseh, MO; three sons Jerry Lee Allen Lewis of Mansfield, MO; Lewayne Lewis of Watts, OK; Jerry Lee Pete Lewis of Calico Rock, AR; one daughter Nancy Bible of Watts, OK; one stepson Will Landsdown of Gainesville, MO; and one stepdaughter Michelle Landsdown of Tecumseh, MO; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; one brother Charles Anderson of Oklahoma; three sisters Louise Kerley, Kathy King, and Ila Strong all of Gainesville, MO.

Funeral services will be 10 AM on Monday, January 26, 2009 at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Jim Kyle officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9 AM to service time. Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
