Obituary

Jesse Reynolds Gonzales of Isabella, Missouri passed away peacefully at home with family on August 12, 2019. He was born July 20, 1940, in Kansas City, Kansas; The son of Dorothy Lee Reynolds and Sotero Moreno. Jesse was proud to be a veteran of both the Navy (1957-1961) and the Army (1968-1969). In 1972 Jesse married Charlene Garrison of Isabella, MO in Kansas City where he was a truck driver for many years. He retired from American Freight Company in 1993 then moved to Isabella, where he spent his days fishing and being with family and friends. During his retirement he was a member of the Isabella VFW and a Theodosia Area Volunteer Fireman. Everybody loved Jesse.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charlene Gonzales; son Charles Farmer and wife Connie of Willard, MO.; daughters: Elisa Busker and husband Nick of Blue Springs, MO; Angela Smith and husband Steve of Springhill, KS; Diane Maria Gonzales of Kansas City, Missouri.; sisters Toni L. Stephen of Shawnee, KS and Martha M. Sharp of Lenexa, KS.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Donna Lawson of Theodosia, Juanita and Tim Jeffery, Lorene and Sonny Cherry, LD Garrison and Bonita Hardy, Ronnie and Shirley Garrison all of Isabella, and Bonnie and John Peter of Gainesville.

"Pa Paw" Jesse was loved by 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents both of Kansas City, Kansas and his daughter Cindy Daniels of Gainesville, MO.
