Jim Frailey

Ava, Missouri

Jim Franklin Frailey, 80 years, 4 months, 17 days old, passed away on January 17, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.

Jim was born August 30, 1942 in Mitchell, Nebraska to William Franklin and Dora Grace (Baker) Frailey.

On April 14, 1961 Jim and Jean Droel were united in marriage at Denver, Colorado and together they were blessed with five children.

Jim was retired from working as a heavy equipment operator in road and housing contruction in Colorado.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. He loved working and driving on his farm and working with heavy equipment. He delighted in helping his neighbors out on their farms. Jim loved reading his Bible, praying and attending fellowship meetings.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Charles Frailey and his wife Donna; daughter-in-law Deahonna Frailey; and one great granddaughter, Isabelle.

Jim is survived by his wife, Jean; five children and their spouses, Sandra Fox, Randall & Angela Frailey, Martin Frailey, Susan & Chris Hanley and Christi & Travis Torrence; several grand and great grandchildren; his sister, Charlene Mayberry and other extended relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Jim will be Friday, January 27, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Anita Forsberg and Katie Keim. There will be no luncheon following services. Family requests memorial donations be made to the donor's choice of charity.
