JIMMY RONALD RHOADS
Jim Rhoads, 59, Gainesville, MO, passed away on October 25, 2009 in Mountain Home, AR. He was born on July 18, 1950 in Jonesboro, AR the son of James Richard and LaFreda Fay (Adams) Rhoads.
On May 22, 1972 he was united in marriage to Mickey Berg in Overland Park, KS and to this union two children were born. Jim was a well known member of the Gainesville community. Since 1997 he has owned and operated the thrift store just off the square in Gainesville. He has helped many families in need over the past twelve years. Jim enjoyed motorcycle riding and traveling with his wife, and most of all he loved his kids. Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Mickey of the home in Gainesville, MO; his mother LaFreda Rhoads of Ava, MO; one daughter Kalynn Rhoads and one son Steven Rhoads both of Colorado Springs, CO; and two brothers Joe Randy Rhoads of Nixa, MO and Gary Wayne Rhoads of Rochester Hills, MI.
He was preceded in death by his father James Richard Rhoads.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Gainesville, MO with Mike Dillin officiating. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
