Jimmy Lee Whisnant, 39, Gainesville, MO, passed away on November 10, 2010 in Gainesville, MO. He was born on November 12, 1970 in Gainesville, the son of James Whisnant and Norma (Smart) Morrison.

Jimmy was a former student of Gainesville High School. He was employed for many years at Chaney Monument in Gainesville, working as a grinder. He was an easy going, kind hearted man who was always quick with a smile. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father James Whisnant; and one brother Wendell Hillhouse. He is survived by two children Amanda and Aaron Watson, both of Gainesville, MO; his mother Norma Morrison and her husband Leroy of Gainesville, MO; three sisters Tammy Roberts of Willard, MO, Jeanne Morgan of Gainesville, MO, and Mary Alice Stephens of Gainesville, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Burl Norton officiating. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in the Sims Cemetery.
