Jo Ann Parris, 75, Gainesville, MO, formerly of Lawrence, KS, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at her home. She was born February 26th, 1939 in Lucerne, Missouri to the late Charles and Mildred Fleshman.

On May 1st, 1955, Jo Ann was married to Basil E. Parris in Ozark, Missouri. She was a home-maker and member of the First Baptist Church of Gainesville, Missouri.

She is survived by her husband Basil Parris; two sons, Randy E. Parris and Rick A. Parris, both of Gainesville, Missouri; sister, Judy Jewell and husband, John, Lawrence, Kansas; sister-in-law, Marjorie E. Kesling, West Plains, Missouri; brother-in-law, Norman A. Parris and wife, Vicky, Pahrump, Nevada; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Her parents, Charles and Mildred; in-laws, Basil A. and E. Grace Parris and sister-in-law, Dorothy J. Parris precede her in death.

The visitation for Jo Ann will be held on Friday, April 25th, 2014 at 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m., both at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, Missouri. She will be buried at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in West Plains, Missouri following the service.
