Jo Dell Wilson, 62, of Kaiser, Missouri passed away July 14, 2023. Jo was born February 11, 1961 in Springfield, MO to Ordra Lee Wilson and Mabelle M Stewart Wilson. Jo Dell was a 1979 graduate of Jefferson City High School in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Jo, was a Jack of many trades and loved adventure. Throughout her life she had the opportunity to live all around the US and experience many different lines of work.

While living in Arizona, Jo worked construction for the Arizona Department of Roads. Miami, FL gave her the opportunity to work for a landscaping company giving her some claim to fame by doing landscape work for the ever popular KC and the Sunshine Band. Back in her home state of Missouri she worked as an Officer for the State of Missouri Department of Corrections and eventually retired from working as a Drywall Finisher.

Nothing brought Jo more happiness than sitting around with a beer in her hand, surrounded by her family and friends, sharing stories, laughing and making memories. While Jo was usually pretty laid back and easy going, her competitive nature would rear its head while playing a "friendly" game of Pitch or Yahtzee or most recently competing in the Stewart/Wilson Corn Hole Tournament at Family Reunions. Anyone that spent any time with Jo at all will tell you she took every opportunity she had to tell you she Loved You and she was always there to give you a hug.

In her free time, Jo loved standing along the shoreline, fishing pole in hand, calling for a fish to come take a nibble. Given the opportunity, she would always jump at the chance to get to fish alongside her nephews, nieces, great nieces, and great nephews whenever and as often as she could.

Jo will be Greatly missed by everyone whose life she has touched throughout the years.

Jo was preceded in death by her Grandparents Freddy Jo and Grace Irene Stewart; Mother and Father, Ordra Lee and Mabelle M. Wilson; Aunt Jean Guccione; Uncle David Stewart; Uncle and Aunt John and Kay Stewart; Brothers-in-Law Glen Hadley Stone, George Looney, Harold Williams, Bill Hill and Tommy Looney.

She is survived by her Brother and four Sisters; Charles Lee Wilson, Karen Jeane Looney, Tama Jane Nash, Mona Kay Looney and Lori Ann Olson (Mark). She is also survived by a Brother-in-Law, Dean Nash, as well as many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and many other close Friends and Family.

Jo was loved my many and will always be remembered for her big heart.

Cremation services for Jo are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Jo's wishes were to be cremated and no services.
