JOAN CAROLYN PAUL RAVERT

No services for Joan Carolyn (Paul) Ravert, 84, of Brixey, MO will be held. Mrs. Ravert died August 22, 2017 at home. She was born March 26, 1933 in Stroudsburg, PA, the daughter of Ralph and Margaret (Williams) Paul.

She graduated from Stroudsburg High School in 1950. On January 8, 1955 in Stroudsburg, she married Glenn "Connie" Ravert. They lived in the Stroudsburg area and raised three children. Joan worked for the Bell of PA and retired from there. She was a loving mother who enjoyed hosting family gatherings, picnics or parties. She loved having her family and friends together. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and cooking.

Survivors include her children Michael Ravert and wife Mary of Saylorsburg, PA, Susan Ravert of Brixey, MO and Tammy Nelson and husband Scott of Cocoa, FL; two grandchildren Jeffrey Fish and Jessica Steen; and great grandchildren Hunter, Axel and Harper; brothers Richard and Bud; and sisters Elaine and Dorothy.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Connie; her parents; her brother James and sister Shirley.
