JOHN BRAGG

Johnnie Wayne Bragg, 78, of Tecumseh, MO passed away June 29, 2019 at the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center, Ava, MO. He was born September 10, 1940 in Cornith, Mississippi to Willie Lee and Mary Alma (Miller) Bragg.

John's family often moved around during his childhood. Once grown, he joined the United States Army where he also completed his G.E.D. On October 2, 1962 he was united in marriage to Ann Bennett. The couple moved to the Ozarks from Illinois eighteen years ago, and made their home in Tecumseh, MO. John loved riding motorcycles with his wife. He enjoyed refurbishing old mobile homes and working on his old 1950's truck. He enjoyed spending time at home with Ann and his beloved dog, Ginger.

John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Ann Bragg of Tecumseh, MO; two daughters Sherri Bragg of Zion, IL and Shannon Barber and husband David of El Cajon, CA; two brothers Miller Bragg of El Cajon, CA, Joseph Bragg of Zion, IL; and one sister Libby Siems of Zion, IL.

No local services are planned. The family will honor John's wish for cremation. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
