John Henry Grisham

John Henry Grisham, son of James Joseph "Jim" Grisham and Letha Killion was born on September 26, 1936 in Elijah, MO and departed this life on April 29, 2007, at his home at West Plains, MO at the age of 70 years.
John was a resident of West Plains for 30 years. He was a boiler maker for steel tanks. On March 24, 1956 John and Joy Sanders were united in marriage in West Plains, MO and to this union three children were born.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, listening to Blue Grass music and spending time with his grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his father, mother, one brother, Donnie Ray and one sister Bonnie May.
He is survived by his wife, Joy of the home in West Plains, one son Rick Grisham & wife, Trish, state of Michigan, two daughters, Kathey Fish, Patty Ellis & husband, Brent, all of West Plains, one sister, Sue Brewer & husband, Donald, one sister-in-law, Freda Grisham, all of West Plains, one brother-in-law, William Dale Sanders, Gainesville, MO,
five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held, Thursday, May 3, 2007, 7:00 p.m. at the South Fork Church near West Plains, MO with the Revs. Bill Jolliff and Mike Morris officiating. John's body was donated to the School of Medicine, Gift of Body Program, University of Missouri-Columbia.
