John Royse

John Royse, 84, passed away January 13, 2026 in his home of Dora, MO. He was born in Kansas City, MO on January 6, 1942 to Nicholas Longworth and Alice Virginia (Crabtree) Royse.

John married Carolyn (Brownlee) Royse July 3, 1963. He was a brick mason for 51 years. He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all. He loved the Ozarks, he loved kayaking and fly fishing.

John is survived by his wife Carolyn, two daughters; Stacey Royse of Dora, MO and Tammy Puhr of Peculiar, MO; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will celebrate the life of John at a later date.
