John Willie Sloan

John Willie Sloan, 94 years, 4 months, and 12 days old, passed away on July 13, 2012 at Cox Medical Center South.
Willie was born March 1, 1918 in Chelsea, OK to George and Mary (Lawson) Sloan. Willie served in the Army during WWII.
Willie liked hunting fishing and water skiing. He enjoyed reading western novels gardening and playing cards.
Willie and Donna (Hicks) were united in marriage June 4, 1990 in Miami, OK.
Willie was preceded by his parents, two sons, Steven Russell and his wife, Alice Sloan and John William Sloan, his first wife, Juanita Richardson, and two brothers, Russell and Lee.
Willie is survived by his wife, Donna Sloan, two daughters, Karen Case and husband Bob, Bradleyville, MO and Virginia Sloan, Kissee Mills, MO,a step-daughter, Jean Cummings and husband Raymond,Marshfield, MO , ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and nineteen great great grandchildren, many nieces nephews and friends.
Memorial services for Willie will be Saturday, July 21st,10:00 a.m. at New Mansion Church, Bradleyville, MO. Interment will be in the Bradleyville Cemetery at a later date.
