Johnie Lee Dabney, 86, of Gainesville, MO passed away September 22, 2021 at her residence. She was born May 21, 1935 in Renner, TX to Lewis Woodrow and Bula (Martin) Collinsworth.

On July 1, 1955, Johnie was united in marriage to Marshall Dabney in Renner, TX. The couple briefly moved to Gainesville, MO in the early 1960's before heading back to Texas. In 1973 they moved back to Gainesville to stay and raise their family. Johnie began a 25+ year career at Baxter Lab in Mtn Home, AR. After retirement, she enjoyed being at home and taking care of her family. Johnie loved her family, going to church and listening to gospel and bluegrass music.

She is survived by her children Debra Webb and husband Kirk of Lewisville, TX, James Marshall Dabney of Gainesville, MO, Brenda Potts and husband Alan of Cotter, AR, and Dennis McDonald of Mtn Home, AR; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two sisters Diana Nelson of Bowie, TX and Janette Robinson and husband Ben of Farmers Branch, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Bula Collinsworth and her husband Marshall Dabney.

Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
