Obituary
Johnnie Chisam, of KCKS, passed away at the age of 82 on Sat. Jan. 10 at home. He was born in Isabella, MO, the son of Noah and Vic Whisnant Chisam.
He worked for Sunshine Biscuit for 42 years, retiring in 1995. Johnnie was preceded in death by his first wife Donnie in 1984; brothers Olen, Everett, Ed and Wes Chisam; sisters Betress, Dora, and Mima Chisam, Lorene Long, and Alene McDonald.
Survivors include his wife Linda Chisam of the home; sister Rena Lininger; children Peggy Wheaton, Gary Chisam, Betty Kentech (Dave), Jerry Chisam, Penny, John Chisam (Katrina), Kelly McGinnis, Kerry Honeycutt (Eddie); 21 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Highland Park Funeral Home in KCKS on Wednesday, January 14, from 6-8 PM. Funeral will be held at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, MO on Friday, January 16 at 2 PM, with interment in Isabella MO.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to KC Hospices or Isabella Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Highland Park Funeral Home and Crematory, 4101 State Ave. KC KS. (913) 371-0699
