JOSEPH FRANK SAMS
Joseph Frank Sams, 67, of Gainesville, MO passed away on June 17, 2017 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO. He was born February 7, 1950 in Seattle, WA, son of Harry and Gladys (Brewis) Sams.
Frank graduated high school in Fairbanks, Alaska. He worked as a carpenter for most of his life. On June 29, 1990 he was united in marriage to Genise Gilmore in Reno, NV. The couple moved to the Ozarks in 2004 and made their home near Brixey. Frank was an over the road truck driver for the last several years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Genise Sams of the home; seven children; twenty-one grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister Barbara Joy of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Gladys Sams.
