Joseph Arthur Schulze, 70, passed away on June 14th, at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava Missouri. Joseph (Joe) was born February 13th, 1955 in Elgin, Illinois to Yvonne (Tobiason) and Theodore Schulze.

He was raised in Mount Prospect Illinois, and went to Prospect High School, and graduated in 1973.

Joe was self-employed for most of his life. While in Illinois he spent his time doing body work on vehicles, and also owned his own landscaping business. He always enjoyed working with his hands, whether it was fixing something old or creating something new.

After moving to the Ozarks, he found himself cutting down trees, drying the lumber himself, and building several outbuildings on his property, and then finally built his own home. Joe was known to build just about anything he could with the wood from his land.

Joseph was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Schulze, his father, Theodore Schulze, brother-in-law Billy (Linda) Weirick, sister-in-law, Denise (William) Schulze, and nephew, Bradley (William) Schulze.

Joseph is survived by his siblings, Edgar (Janice) Schulze, William Schulze, Linda Weirick, and Robert Schulze.

Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri.
