Judith "Judy" Denney

Judith Francis Denney the daughter of James D. Miller and Mary J. (Goss) Miller was born Jan. 7, 1963 in Gainesville, Missouri and departed this life July 23, 2007 at the age of 44 years 6 months and 16 days.

Judith was a life long resident of Ava, Missouri. She obtained an Associate Degree and served as Douglas County Circuit Clerk and Recorder for 8 years. She was a member of the Ava Assembly of God Church and also attended Clark Church. Judith loved traveling and enjoyed working with people in the community. She enjoyed singing and she loved being with her children and family. She was a Mom to many.

Judith and Jeff Denney were united in marriage May 16, 198l in Ava, MO. Judith and Jeff were married for 20 years and blessed with three children.

Judith was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ted and Marian Goss and Elsie and Charlie Miller. She is survived by her three children, Joshua Denney, Ozark, MO, Jessica Denney and Jacob Denney both of Ava, MO, her parents, James and Mary Miller, Ava, MO, two sisters and their spouses, Debbie Tabor and Jeff, and Jamie Boyd and Buddy, both of Ava, MO and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 26, 2007 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with Pastor Gary Stigall officiating. Interment will follow in the Denney Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 1:00 P.M. until service time. Memorials may be made to Gideon or American Cancer Society.
